I have picked up two for £10 each within the last two years. Both on ABEbooks.co.uk. They tend to disappear very quickly when they are listed by retailers who don't realise true value. Both appeared as copies with dustwrapper, but were not highlighted as first editions (although they are from the number line). I think that any copy advertised with a dustwrapper will be a first, even if the seller doesn't mention it. Sometimes they don't. Dustwrapper condition is critical. The two I picked up are VG- in book collector parlance. I would not value them at any more than £50-100. A truly F/F copy is probably worth 200 - 500 at present. The two copies on ABEbooks at present (£675 and £1000) have been there for a long time without selling.....

Haven't seen many come up - seen a couple advertised with a set of 4 cards inc kissing coppers, Liita, and 2 others wrapped in Banksy tag apparently given out free to promote sales of the first edition - anyone else come across these ?

Probably wouldnt hold too much to those card sets. There was an ebay seller with a huge pile of them they were listing. I would guess a fair few will now be copies That have been added to the book. Unless you can find someone on here thats trustworthy and has them.

I didn't know where to put this, but i think i picked up a Wall and Piece first edition, first printing with a dustjacket - does anyone know how I can check this out? It does not say first edition or first printing, but it does not say otherwise and just says 'first printed by' in '2005'

Any ideas ?

Hi, I recently set out to purchase one of these - I was offered several & the priced varied depending on condition of the book & jacket. Though to be fair a good condition first edition can be had for approx £40-£50. The dust jacket therefore introduces the rarity value & needs to be in good / excellent condition to justify the premium - prices ranged from £150 - £950 when I was looking
