Replete π¬π§ TPN Crew Graffiti β’ Leeds Graffiti Artist, by Rourke on May 30, 2009 21:42:41 GMT 1, Ha ha, yeah I liked the idea of the small fork for such a huge guy and it also goes back to eating my desserts with a tea spoon in order to make them last longer which is one of my remaining habits from my council house upbringing. here's the outline which I actually much prefer to the finished character. I fully painted in the eyes then thought it was better to fade them almost to black to get a more meaner look to the guy. Did a similar thing with the mouth making him look pissed off. the character is actually based on my dead Irish grandad who was a ship builder and originally he was going to have a spud on the fork and but I changed the concept to fit better with Plug's letter style.

I've just released some new canvas and paper sketches. The canvases are A4 (21Γ29cm/8x12") high quality hand drawn on unprimed canvas in charcoal and spraypaint, signed by me and includes signed COA.
The paper sketches are A4 (21Γ29cm/8x12") high quality sketch on 160gsm paper in pencil and spraypaint and are signed by me and includes signed COA.
They cost around Β£45 to Β£60 ($65 to $98).
I'll also be throwing in a free sketches for a couple of randomly drawn buyers.

The first is a 8'x4' piece spelling the name "Jeeves" spread across 6 canvases and painted entirely in freehand spraypaint.
The second one is a preparatory canvas study entitled "R-Axis", 24x36" in acrylics, spraypaint, pencil and charcoal.
Something new technique wise as this is somewhere between a pencil sketch and a painting and I'm pleased with the results considering the rapidity of the brush/pencil strokes in which it was painted/drawn.
