Replete π¬π§ TPN Crew Graffiti β’ Leeds Graffiti Artist, by Deleted on Apr 30, 2009 21:09:49 GMT 1, Hiya folks, I've just released some new A4 (8x11.5") pencil/spraypaint/marker sketches and cost from around Β£50 ($70). They are available from my Big Cartel site as usual. Below is a preview of some of the selection of sketches. I'm also releasing 2 special artsts proofs of my sold out Basking Aingel print that include extra hand finishing and are varnished too. As per usual I will be including some randomly drawn extras for a couple of lucky buyers. Cheers for your attention, R Sketches are available here: replete.bigcartel.com/
Nice,i always say things on here are nice, sorry, OK then just to be different i hate them ;D , only messing they are nice that nipple just jumps off the page. If you ever need a stand in photographer to take a few pics of your muses for you, please let me know ;D
It is two images? Kind of on top of each other? And two models? Are you self-taught or did you go to art classes/uni? What are your bank account details?

And it's my broken up letterfroms and abstractions worked into the figure as if they are overlayed and physically merged with the body.
And I'm entirely self taught as I left school at 15 as it never did anything for me especially on the art side as my art teacher was a pompous baffoon who would repeatedly chastise me as he said graffiti is not art, nor is anything that has an outline? Bloody fool all he painted was piss poor water colours of fishing villages which were outlined in pencil!
All men born around the 70's grew up wanting to be Han Solo as who doesnt like a lovable rogue?

That crazy my art teacher fits that description too, he looked like Edward Elgar with a comb over and a waxed mustache, he even had an eye monocle and tweed suite. and he painted piss poor water colours too and was a right old public school type, which did not go down will at my school (unlike Vicky Taylor ).
Did you leave school or were you kicked out, i did not like school that much at the time, but it was simpler that the real world in some way, ahhh nostalgia, don't you just love it . school is a bit like this forum, you write loads of crap and get told and read loads of crap , meet a few good people and quite a few plonkers too, but at least you don't all have to shower together ;D

Replete π¬π§ TPN Crew Graffiti β’ Leeds Graffiti Artist, by Replete on Apr 30, 2009 22:44:39 GMT 1, I was pretty much asked to leave as I was considered a bad influence doing such things as repeatedly skateboarding down the corridors and doing indy grabs down the internal stairs whilst being stoned out my twig on cheap squidgey black and purple ohms. Most days in my last year I just turned up at register and then would dissapear off to skate or down the train tracks to paint and smoke soapbar/start fires.
And I never showered at school as I forged a note from my mum as one of our PE teachers was known for getting his hands dirty by getting firm grasp of the balls!
Monacle? Ha ha could he play the xylophone as well;?

Is that not normal then?
Monacle? Ha ha could he play the xylophone as well;?

PS Cashman, I'm a coffee total now, i can't handle the hang over any more .

I'll be doing some nice illegal pieces with the lad soon and get some better quality work done as we'll have a lot more time to spend on them.

We have a similar outlook with graf composition and are able to put elements together on the spot with no prior planning. We could have done it quicker as intially it was raining it's arse off when we started but then the sun came out at 7pm so we chilled out a bit as we knew we had around an hour of good light left to get a photo at the end.
P.S we work with a can of beer in one hand and a can of paint in the other. Multitask it's the way forward

If I'm ever up your neck of the woods or you're down near London it'd be great to tag along (no pun intended) and see a piece of yours actually go up!

Replete π¬π§ TPN Crew Graffiti β’ Leeds Graffiti Artist, by Replete on May 12, 2009 19:14:51 GMT 1, Hi all over the last few weeks me and some of my TPN crewmates have been adding some colour to the northern motorways.
Firstly here's me splashing some fruit flavours on the side of a rolling banana, painted yesterday:
Next here's one from saturday painted on the M62 by Sune, Plug and me, with a Little Red Riding Hood turning tricks under the bridge theme:
The area is infamous for it's seedy sexual encounters in the bushes and layby and the discarded clothing all around the bridge would testify to this.
Painting the wall was like trying to work in a wind tunnel and the lighting on the wall was so bad it resulted in what I call "Faith Painting" as you're sure you're painting something but you can't actually see it so you pray and spray and hope for the best.
Nice view from the wall though:
And lastly we have Pryme and Crie doing a little unauthorised redecorating on the M65:

here's the outline which I actually much prefer to the finished character. I fully painted in the eyes then thought it was better to fade them almost to black to get a more meaner look to the guy. Did a similar thing with the mouth making him look pissed off.
the character is actually based on my dead Irish grandad who was a ship builder and originally he was going to have a spud on the fork and but I changed the concept to fit better with Plug's letter style.
