Replete 🇬🇧 TPN Crew Graffiti • Leeds Graffiti Artist, by Replete on Oct 1, 2009 21:32:25 GMT 1, ta lads and it took around 8 hours to paint partly down to I planned and started to paint the figures with more detail such as contour lines but I got to the middle section and did them more simplistic with subtler tones (less white, more grey) and much preferred that look so I had to repaint the first figures to match.

Also the design I was working from was comprised of single frames that I had to combine and I made evolving decisions such as making the parts of the figures that lie in the dark bands be partly in negative, with a white aura/outline and the figure sits behind the ones in the lighter bands where the figures progressively overlay the previous frame.

Also there's a lot more subtlety to the background that first meets the eye as the stripes arent black rather they're dark greys that get progressively darker with only the very last one on the far right being pure black in order to bring it sharply to the front to give the overall movement and focus of the scene.
