i liked seeing the stuff as i just knew the cr@p pow prints. Some interesting stuff but not my cuppa. Still better than what i had seen before.

I was hoping a biggest difference between black/white prints and colored/numbered ones....I have almost no money right now...Bad period and I love Bast...Thus, I thought I would be out for the one offs or the numbered one but could get the "regular" ones....
But maybe lower prices would have created quickly a secondary market and hype...Not sure it's that bad that prices were immediately set at a certain level...Maybe the artist making money instead of resellers and less hype...I got one and I'm happy...And maybe, when I have enough money I will have a shot again...

Last night I bit the bullet and picked up the "STOUFFERS PORKY" original off the BAST website. I also got a "MOLOTOV DWARF" on foil vinyl whatever that is.
Judging by the size of the pieces, the relative scarcity of BAST's pieces made specifically for fine art collectors, he is a legitimate and well known NY street artist ans not some poser, and the fact that he has a big solo show coming up at New Image Art Gallery I believe these prices were very fair.
I think I am definitely done buying for the year unless Faile come up with some live stuff later in August...
