new Micallefs pics on Lazinc now, by rob123rob on Sept 14, 2007 21:18:14 GMT 1, when semiscottishpete made a mistake, I take it you're making referrence to the ebay mix up yesterday, I did not know: 1, that it was a forum member who had made the mistake and put them up as BINs by accident (thought it was just another flipper), and two, I never said that the "buyer" should force the other person to sell them at that price, I asked, as you will see in that thread, what happens in that kind of a situation, and does the buyer have recourse? I was wondering what lies in the grey area of ebay in those situations. Not trying to screw someone over, just wondering what protections, and what rules, affect that type of situation. We all make mistakes. Boy, I'm glad the respect thing isn't up today...I'd be crucified with - 's.

new Micallefs pics on Lazinc now, by rob123rob on Sept 14, 2007 21:23:54 GMT 1, because here's an interesting question of morals/ethics....say the situation that happened yesterday on ebay happened again.....and you didn't know the person selling the stuff who made the mistakes, in fact you knew of them and knew that they were shady flippers with a bit of a bad history on here, would you still accept that someone made a mistake and not force the issue?

new Micallefs pics on Lazinc now, by stuey09 on Sept 14, 2007 21:28:31 GMT 1, Personally speaking I thought it was obviously a mistake. Would I accept it was a mistake and not seek recourse. Of course, I think most people would. Why would I wish to see anyone out of pocket by several thousand pounds. You've got some dodgy standards fella.

new Micallefs pics on Lazinc now, by rob123rob on Sept 14, 2007 21:32:08 GMT 1, those prints weren't snatched up within seconds for no reason....if someone doesn't know the value of what they are selling and sells it too low, then really is it your responsibility to say, hey, you've got something worth more there......my standards are fine, thanks for asking

new Micallefs pics on Lazinc now, by rob123rob on Sept 14, 2007 21:39:02 GMT 1, and the guy was selling back door prints....so to bring standards into the conversation may be not perfectly fair.....I am not being sarcastic when I say that I think it's honorable and totally cool of someone to accept a seller's mistake like that and wash their hands of it, I was just wondering then and still wonder now, what the "rules" say about that kind of situation, that's it....no sticks, no stones, no insults...just conversation
