I think the show will be early 2008, but dont quote me on that.
I am very impatient to see his new work. He surely has gone quiet for some times and it is a good things.

It's just a shame Conor's show is not at Elms Lester, apart from being a much nicer space, the couple that run it are fantastic and always take time to talk to you about the art, whereas at Laz they sneer at you for not being cool or famous (or maybe i have self esteem issues).

But his print at Laz never sold out. Nice work though.

People talk about this Laz hype machine, but it didnt really work with Micallef did it  ?
Banksy grabbed the worlds attention for 2 reasons:
1. He'd been nuturing his skills for years and already had a huge fan base
2. He had the elephant stunt, which probably made it for him in terms of coverage by the press

They may have sold out here but it took 5-6 days to sell the ones in the U.S. Ive seen hardly any coverage of the show in either newspapers, T.v or the internet. And you seen to forget that the price of Banksy work tripled after his show compared to the price of AM work, which you could say has been cripled
Im a fan of both artists but I feel that the Micallef show was missing something. I also feel that the overall setup of the show didnt complement AM's work

I agree Carlo, This had alot to do with people looking for the next banksy.
