FAILE and BANKSY LATEST AUCTION RESULTS, by artpartment on Nov 29, 2007 0:35:10 GMT 1, I just came from the Dorotheum auction house where tonight some banksy and one Faile work went for sale.
here are the results:
painting :helicopter on canvas 170 000.-euros
2.flower thrower 55 000.-euros
3.rat with brush 45 000.-euros
4.rat with umbrella 30 000.-euros
5 .print with queen 20 000 euros
and finaly FAILE for 18 000 euros
during the auction i heard some young guys telling how easy it is to fake the rats and thats an easy way to make some money.i am telling you this because i remember some auction where rats went for sale between 500-5000 euros at ebay and i was thinking thats something its going wrong (maybe).forum members told me thats an normal price for this outside non authentificated works .this auction showed me thats not.be aware guys and have a nice day

I think we all know you dont touch a street piece unless you can afford it to take a gamble and are prepared for it to be worth ยฃ10 - or if it has a compilation of evidence and provenance!!
