Framed BAST pieces, by Francis on Dec 30, 2007 1:59:35 GMT 1, I've only seen harveyn's and urbancollect's framed BAST prints....no others. Does anyone out there have any of their BASTs framed? Or if you've seen any out there, link em up!

My point exactly. If I were going to frame mine it would have to be in a deep shadow box so all of the waves in the paper could still live. Ive contemplated it, especially because of longterm preservation issues, but think it will easily cost $1000+ or so to do this.
Ive spoken with Bast's guy about framing these "rough" paintings and he agrees that a shadowbox would be the only way to keep the "feel" that Bast intends; he also said he has yet to see anything framed in this manner but would love to see a pic if I did so.
