Think it will hurt the collective or will they climb to new heights? While we are at it, How do you think Aiko will do in the new year??
I personally believe the triple threat was the way to go. And think those initial pieces when there was three will be more valuable in the end all. I am sure they will still do collaborative pieces here and there. Also, I feel alot of the new faile stuff i have seen hasnt quite hit me like the early pieces. Is this because Aiko is missing?? Not sure.

and last year they went over the roof.
They've had 3 superb shows last year LA, London and NYC, 4 sold out (and over sold) on line releases, Sothebys sold few pieces 3-4 times over their estimates and if you want any of their original canvases-good luck.
I am not saying it is because Aiko has left but it definitely didn't hurt them.
What's next depends solely on them, their future work and exhibitions.

I have modified my post.
You're right it is interesting who has rights for what.
But there is definitely some kind of agreement as Aiko is still sometimes using Smoking Silence image and I haven't seen this image being used in the Faile new pieces.

Back to Aiko. Its interesting because Aiko piece are still relatively cheap compared to collective. I own one Aiko canvas and one print but a sh!t load of the old faile prints and an original. Unfortunately nothing new. But have seen some that I would really love to own such as the boxers.
