Adam Neate and Ron English???, by deal on Mar 26, 2008 23:04:43 GMT 1, Just saw this and remembered this was Adam's next show. I love both of their work, but it seems like a strange combination to put both of them together, eh? Does anyone else find this to be a mis-matched pair?
Why do you think Elms Lesters set it up this way? I'm curious what people think...

Also, do you think that Neate or English will release any new prints from this show? That would be awesome. I don't think I've ever seen Ron English make prints, so that probably won't happen.

Adam Neate and Ron English???, by deal on Mar 27, 2008 0:50:15 GMT 1, I sent them an email at Popaganda and they replied that all his prints are SOLD OUT now. But, they did say they will have something very special for release sometime in April. They said they would put me on their mailing list, but couldn't tell me anything more yet...
The girl that handles his email was really nice about it, at least.
Does anyone here know anything about this next release, and who it will be with? I've never heard of "jet set graffiti", and couldn't find them on the internet or on Ron's site. If anyone can help, please let me know, thanks.

Adam Neate and Ron English???, by Rude Copper on Mar 27, 2008 11:37:31 GMT 1, actually, i was told the reason for the decision not to produce anymore prints was that it was starting to affect the creative process of the paintings, ie, he was thinking how a painting would look as a print, as opposed to letting the process flow naturally,
with that in mind, they decided to produce the 9 prints for the solo show, & give everyone who had been supportive a chance to own a piece of work. i was told that was a permenant decision, but as the fanbase grows, who knows?

1. The quote came directly from from Adam in an email he sent me.
2. I don't honestly know, all I know he's been painting in some new styles and experimenting for the show.
3. I wish mate, what I can get on the walls (without the house looking like a gallery ) is up, the rest is for one day when hopefully I move somewhere bigger
