Framing Nick Walker, by james055 on Apr 29, 2008 10:57:06 GMT 1, First time post....so hope i dont get cut to shreds for asking obvious questions but thought this would be a good place to ask. I managed to buy one of the 6 butterfly canvas's at the recent Nick Walker BRP show, i'm thinking i should get it framed rather than just hanging the canvas straight onto my bedroom wall. Does anyone have any good example of what i could do and where (i live in london) i could get it done ? Also, managed to get a V is for Vandal print which i was thinking about putting in a thin black box frame? Thanks for your help.......

For some inspiration check out the 'get your banksy's out' threads and go from there. Good luck with it and be sure to post up some pics when you eventually get them done. You have one of the most beautiful canvases out there so enjoy it. My advice would be to frame it but don't put glass over it. Mrframerman does a superb job btw.

Not disagreeing with Romans opinion, just that we all have different preferences!
I love the framing of the Walker canvas above but problem I find is that the canvas gets 'dusty' and this can ingrain itself over time. I like them boxed in perspex, protects them much better and also stops the worry of kids sticky fingers and felt tip pens!! ;D
Speak to Mr Frameman, he will soon help you out!
Nice purchase by the way, those butterflies were gorgeous in the flesh!
