There's been no shows or rumours of them since the Levine cancellation, and his prints are plummeting on eBay, with a Winehouse (admittedly a lame one) going for 206 the other day and a nice Musk for 550 USD a week or so back.
Anyone know if or when he will be producing new work?
Maybe the theory that he is Dain is true, what with his brother having three shows in the next few months?

I have a feeling we are gonna hear a lot more about Bast over the next year or so

His pieces at the Outsiders show were quality. The fact that he produces all his prints and originals himself is admirable and I think adds a lot of depth to his work.
As for the prints on eBay, that's just noise. His originals are consistently sought after by collectors especially as you don't see too many pop up on eBay (I think anyway as I don't keep a close watch on it.)

there is only one original on ebay USA that i can see, with a $4k start. No-one should worry about BAST.

What's happened to Bast?, by thesewalls on Oct 17, 2008 4:47:07 GMT 1, nothing happened to BAST. ebay prices and availability mean absolutely nothing! i'd like to see more work of his on the streets and in the galleries, but he did just participate in the Outsiders show, and also enjoyed a solo show at Brooklynite. i think he's just a chilled out, somewhat introverted dude, who isn't motivated by money, fame or exposure. and for the record, BAST is not DAIN...they are brothers though.
never let the world of ebay influence your opinions on the success or talents of an artist.
