The original limited edition version, still on-line at BRP, contained a specially produced version of the book with a signed Rat print £195.

I explain :
Blek is a conceptual artist working in the streets and today, he is only doing what dealers are waiting of him : doing big or small paintings and for poor people : editions !
He is, almost, like Marlon Brando : living rich in a private island with fans in love with his young life with Harley-Davidson....

I hope your not Bleks PR coz your not doing a very good job !!
Im just glad the 'Rich' can afford those poor quality canvas's
one of them is $10k n im shaw I can see either rinkles on the canvas where it hasnt been stretched properly !!!

I like Blek's work, but for the money he charges I would expect the canvas to be well made and primed rather than bought of the shelf from the "local artshop" that first year art students and people like your mum buy their canvases from. I have a couple of Grafter and Ripper1331 (where are you Ripper??) canvases and although I am pretty sure they are shop bought at least they are v.good quality.

The artist Blek is thinking about art, urban art, society...
the Biz is in American and english dealers hands.
And these galleries say to Blek : " we are going to sell expensive paintings, do prints like Banksy and you will see : all the urban art lovers will love that and buy it ".
and Blek is absolutly not interested in money so he answers to the dealers "ok, do want you want".
Something is sure : Xavier Prou (Blek) is happy that urban art is worldwide famous ! but doesn't really care about money...french guys are not very good in business ;-(
