How much for your Banksy signed Applause?, by daddychaps on Jan 29, 2010 11:14:55 GMT 1, I have been trying for one of these for a while too. One ended on ebay on the 24th at just under £2.2k from a low start price. Didnt make reserve, but i think a good indication of what people would want to pay for it. What people would want to sell it for... now thats a different story!

How much for your Banksy signed Applause?, by mustard on Jan 29, 2010 16:56:05 GMT 1, It didn't sell for 2.2k, I would consider 3.25k gbp for my L.A. version signed Applause, the L.A. versions signed are pretty rare maybe only 3-5 exist, only because i really want a signed Napalm

I believe there were 6 signed Printers Proofs and 33 or 36? signed Artist Proofs for the LA series prints. Is yours one of those? or do you have a signed one from the regular edition?

How much for your Banksy signed Applause?, by mustard on Jan 29, 2010 17:20:48 GMT 1, mine is a signed L.A. version from the edition, I know there were 6 PPs but I've never heard of that many APs, actually I've never heard or seen any L.A. APs . I think that's why the PP sets were getting such large money because of the rarity of that signed set, if there were that many signed AP sets out there I doubt the PP set would have gotten that type of money.

I only heard about the APs recently myself - there was definitely a signed Festival AP edition of 33 or 36 on ebay a while back and a thread about them on here before Christmas. I think someone mentioned they were given out to friends/family and people who helped with the LA show.

How much for your Banksy signed Applause?, by daddychaps on Jan 29, 2010 21:52:03 GMT 1, It was item number 110483439340. Didn't reach reserve, but bids stopped at £2168ish. Guess that gives a fair indication of what people will pay... But again not necessarily what people will sell for!

How much for your Banksy signed Applause?, by mookie on Jan 29, 2010 22:52:29 GMT 1, I'm surprised that this only reached £2.2k in bids on ebay... I'm more surprised that someone would read this thread and still wish they had picked up one for £3.25k last week.

How much for your Banksy signed Applause?, by mustard on Jan 29, 2010 22:59:01 GMT 1, if you're a serious buyer, you'll probably soon realize what you'll have pay to actually get one. I don't think there are many sellers giving them up for some of the lower estimates on here

How much for your Banksy signed Applause?, by stevieray101 on Jan 30, 2010 9:20:47 GMT 1, i got offered a LA one for £2.5k - does anyone have an idea of what i'll have to pay in terms of VAT? any other fees if it's coming from the US?
i can't remember if customs charges you something as well - just trying to get an idea of the "true" cost of this offer.
