For the people that have actually seen my collection they will know the pieces that have been with me many years.
I do however have a compulsive desire to buy art and as I never keep anything hidden away sometimes this happens.
This is actually a really cracking piece but it struggles to sit with my collection and whilst contrast sometimes works for some pieces, for this one it has not. I have a beautiful Parla canvas that sits next to a Shepard stencil and they are perfect together. My Gemeos sits in between two McGees and its as if they were made to do so.
So the long and the short of this is I have a new piece in mind and this one has not fitted in so well. I still think its a great piece but not just for me at this time. I have been known to be wrong..... ;D

No need to explain anything to anyone about your collecting/selling. Your reasoning makes perfect sense to me and I appreciate your views on the subject. Some pieces go together and some don't and sometimes you have to get the piece in your home and live with it to see if it works. I totally understand that. Sharing buys/sells with others will ultimately bring this kind of unwanted scrutiny. BTW, good luck with the sale. It's a nice Dalak.

I have to agree, your reasons are just that, YOUR reasons and nobody elses... I got soooo much shit for putting my Micallef up for sale and had it almost a year and really tired to make it work for me but in the end it just didn't, but that wasn't a good enough reason
there never seems a good enough reason to sell, or so it seems to certain people... sometimes you buy art, you work with it, re-frame it and try to make it work and sometimes it just isn't for you you or it just doesn't work in the house... so you move it on so someone else can enjoy it or make it work in their life...
By the way, I love this dalek, it's a gorgeous piece of art...best of luck with it...

Just to let everyone know how ordered this record.
My manufacturer seems to be very slow at the moment.
And I have been told the record will be shipping next week to me.
So therefore the record should reach you the second week of March.
Which is a little over the estimated 28 days that appeared on the site.
Really sorry about this, if its any consolation this project was started in July 2009.

Should be ok, I just got into Japan with the same problem, my passport photo could even be slipped out and changed it was so fucked.
