Also, maybe someone from Artnet (or maybe you know yourself Pascal?) could come on and explain the registration process to become a seller? ie with no hidden charges, and to confirm that all that is needed is a $25 entry fee per work for auction and then 10% commission once sold?. Then as a buyer the fees are just the sale price plus 10% to Artnet with no further charge?.

Thats the way i read it, its almost saying that artnet except no responsibility if the sale goes wrong so its just like ebay then?

My annual payment is about $15,000, but it is vital to my making money so I have to pay for the service. Back in the day I had a wall of auction catalogues behind my desk and would have to perhaps go through 30 or more to find the piece I was looking for, since artnet I can pull up the work in seconds, and have a list of all comparibles too, and have a rather stunning picture hanging behind me instead.

Interested in one piece but need to ask some things- not comfortable bidding thousands blind...at least on eShite you have the 'ask seller a question' box to communicate..

You have to do A LOT of searches to spend 15k on the price database. I beieve I pay around $30 per month which gives me 30 searches a month and is way more than I need.
