If it gets damaged or lost, youre screwed! They kill you on VAT, but think how you would feel if it gets damaged or lost.

buying a signed Banksy print from US to UK...HELP?, by wave on Feb 9, 2010 23:45:40 GMT 1, Always worth asking the seller if they know anyone travelling to uk. Worked for me a few times. I wouldn't risk marking the value down as thats exactly what you'll get back if it gets damaged or lost.

This advice is tax evasion or fraud and these are illegal. Did the original owner pay the VAT on the print in the UK? I am sure that there is a sticky thread on this subject.
