It was actually something we had been discussing doing before Red Propellor started it (around the time of Small Is Beautiful) as we had seen timed releases work well before (they've been around some time!) but we took a while to source the printer we wanted (although I'm sure it doesn't look like that)
We are releasing one print every 3-4 weeks, not on a weekly basis, and by keeping the edition limited to the number sold in 24 Hours we are keeping the costs as low as possible and supporting our artists' work in the current financial climate.
We're also delighted with this release that Martin offered the original work to someone who buys the print, as Danny O'Connor's print sold 24 and Replete's 17 this means that someone is probably in with an exceptionally good chance of winning the original work.
