And no, RYCA, I don't hink you're being over-sensitive. Tagging monuments and memorials is not a healthy lack of automaton-like respect for authority, it's just a lack of respect. You were shouting though

or if you view it as representing the lives of those victims of war .
I am not defending the practice , its just i have to presume the frnch taggers are viewing these things as the former.
