Queued from around 10 am on Friday. Last night was baltic but time seemed to roll by without too much incident. Really good atmosphere and got to meet some great forum members.
Ticket system worked well and security did good job. I heard that most that turned before about 5 out got a print.
I think POW deserve a lot of credit for the way this was organised and good to see them mixing up the methods of release.
Very pleased to get such a great print.
Anyone left in the queue or are they all done now?

If you do intend to flip your print, maybe you can reflect on your experience last night and give a small percentage of your profit back (even 1% would be fantastic) to help in the fight against homelessness. Nope not mine - just saying you cant blame people for wanting to make some easy money. If this was an item with which i had no emotional attachment or interest in and i needed the cash would i queue overnight to make 2k??? damm right i would...

Met some really nice people in the queue, got blood all over my jacket after breaking up a fight at about 4am. Am only just getting the feeling back in my toes.
I can't wait to get this on the wall and it will remind me of a great night every time I look at it.

So now that all is sorted, did getting those numbered ticket at 7p.m. yesterday actually guarantee you the chance to buy the print? Could you have gone home and shown up at 9a.m. to buy the print if you had a ticket?

Met some great people and had some great laughs...i was around position 85 in the queue/105 in the prints if anyone else was around there, forgot to ask forum names!
Can't believe positions 1&2 did 2 nights on the street, 1 was most definately enough! Felt a bit sorry for them as can imagine the idea of getting prints number 1/250 and 2/250 would have kept them going only for pow to take the first 20 odd yet still that no longer matters as the print really is a belter.
Saw a few guys giving a number of people who looked quite obviously out of place the £450 print money in the crowd so imagine a few galleries and/or touts cleared up on this one which is a shame. Mine will be making my wall some time in the new year so just have to decide on framing options now!

Was tempted to join you..but prior commitments / memories of freezing my balls off for the Life's Too Short print meant I decided not to head down.
Good to hear it was well organised by POW...had a feeling it would have gone down the Micallef / Laz route...glad it didn't.
I'm hoping to be a bit more lucky in the lottery for the green (fingers crossed!).
Thanks for posting up some pics so soon eddiedangerous - print looks a cracker...looking forward to seeing pics of some framed and on the wall.
