Right, anyone putting in a genuine offer and not knowing what's going on will probably up their offer now. Now if all 20+ of you went and retracted your offer, that would be funny and look suspicious to anyone.
I'm very surprised pow did a queue for this but congrats to the survivors. if it was as cold there as it was in ny, you people are certifiably crazy.

Pretty rough out there for me without a sleeping bag. Great part of London to spend a night out
One sees things which never should be seen.
Great atmosphere in the queue.
Lots of genuine nutters and probably the same amount of touters (unfortunately but there's nothing that could be done about that).
Great experience sweetened with an even sweeter print.
Love the little black and white ticket with the POW logo and Banksy HV blind stamp.
Thanks to all the new friends who kept me and all the others entertained.
My head and body is still fuck up.
But who cares, right?

Got my print meet lots of forum members SLAMMER was there since the early morning hours and was freezing cold Congratulations to those who got the print well worth the 18 hours wait i actually managed to get an extra ticket for a guy that was coming from germany but didnt hear from him all i know is that he arrived in london at 1am and that was the last contact ive had with him So I did the honest thing and gave it to Another forum member that didnt have a ticket Def will do it again if the oportunity comes by
Ben did make it over and picked up a print at around number 219. He did try to look for you a few times and had really appreciated the mails you had exchanged that day. We queued together all night and had a great, but very cold, evening.

I arrived at 4pm on the Thursday night and was first in the que but was told to go home by POW and that i was crazy!
Not to be put off i arrived back 5am on the Friday morning to find a tent outside the door. As soon as the guy in the tent heard me setting up my chairs etc he popped his head out and said 'thank fuck!...there are some crazy motherfuckers round here!'
2nd in the que! Very happy!
First 12hrs were no problem. what really got to me was the sleep deprivation. Every position you seemed to get in was very uncomfortable. From 3am-9am was very difficult (the no sleeping aspect)
During the whole thing everyone was really friendly. Meet 'mammal' for the first time who i must say was a very nice bloke.
All in all is was an experience and one that i said i would not repeat....who am i kidding?!...see you all next time....
Just a quick thanks to my mate who lent me a ridiculiously warm north face coat and a special forces sleeping bag.
I've been unlucky since S&S and when i arrived home was well chuffed. Cracking print!!!!

I can see that. as I said times are tough and the chance to make mebbes a months take home pay make this understandable
Its not like they can make a living out of this , given the banksy release schedule
if you can be arsed to Q for 24 hours or whatever, then you deserve the print, irrespective of whether you are an enthusuast or not

a fight broke out in front of me, just drunk idiots not part of the queue. It got quite vicious and a guy puched a woman in the face. People from the queue put an end to it by pulling them apart.

Woke up Friday afternoon and after reading this post decided it was a good idea to drive 200 miles south. Arrived at the queue around 6:30pm and was lucky enough to be among a decent group. Witnessed the jack in the box and several amusing incidents! Arrived back home at 3:30pm with our Banksy. It's not for sale and will remind me of a very strange night indeed. Will probably do it again but for now I'll just enjoy my beer.

involved in an RTA with a drunk driver on the m4 who had been weaving throughout traffic in his shitty mondeo, i was in the fasty lane going under a lepton and he pulls out from the middle to about 1m infront of me with no lights on. i smack on the brakes (ABS) and weave into the middle lane to avoid him and he goes straight accross into the barrier and spins around behind me. pulled over and got out, police about 30 seconds behind in unmarked car, came up to me him and the other people who had whitenessed it and asked who was the mondeo driver. the guy says he was. he says weve had 15 report of your dangerous driving in the last 10 minutes so your underarrest for dangerous driving, he cuffs him and was like and i smell alcohol on your breath..
anyway, is it wrong the first thing i checked before my car was my banksy which was on the back seat...
