It's absolute fact that DV have not contributed one iota to any discussion on ART on this forum since they/it/she/he joined it. Lead by example!
Exactly. Forum seems to be about arguing and rumors by the looks of things. Anyway, of course the forum is also about "buying and selling" or there wouldn't be a section dedicated to it.
I don't care what people do with their prints, but the shitty thing here, is that this person (or people) have apparently taken advantage of someone by buying their print and reselling it at a higher value.
I know it's a free world/market, but I've sold a few prints to forum members ove rthe years and I always have given a slightly better rate than the things were selling for on ebay. And it is rather shitty when I see the buyer exploit my kindness for financial gain. But I guess it takes all types.

Also, this is bunk, an artists career doesn't depend on how many print jockeys are F5ing for a simple screenprint.

Thats life tho! if you got everything you wanted life would be f*cking dull. Move on, i'm 100% sure Banksy will release another print at some point in the future, and lets be fair, although this one is nice, its not his best.

Selling theese prints for £750-£1000 from source would scare off the many of the flippers. And it will still be a good price for a Banksy print. The prices has actually gotten lower since trolleys. And smaller editions. But to be fair. Someone else flipped this print to DV for a rolex first. But it would be decent of them to wait wait a couple of weeks before selling it on again. I have always said, do what dface etc have done, put up prices to deter flippers. Simple If prints were £1000+ flippers would be scared to get there fingers burnt. Personally im all for prices going up, if peopel are paying £750 for a d*face print, people must be willing to pay at least £1000/£1250 or even £1500 for a print
