Banksy - No Ball Games (GREEN), by mookie on Jan 31, 2010 13:08:24 GMT 1, I picked up my green NBG on this forum a couple of weeks ago for £1300. The price you are offering is good for a green and fair for a grey. Good luck.

Banksy - No Ball Games (GREEN), by mookie on Jan 31, 2010 13:21:21 GMT 1, They were selling on ebay for £1250 at the time when loads were put up at the same time... all in the states though. The problem is finding a uk seller so you don't have to pay tax and postage. I got lucky and only had to travel over the bridge to wales to get it. Looks great.
Be careful with the oil cans... a lot of the ones on ebay have had damage as the paper is quite light weight. Try to collect in person if you can.

yeah i agree...but if you want the stamps and numbers showing wondering if the thin white strip you'll be left with might spoil the overall look

Banksy - No Ball Games (GREEN), by curiousgeorge on Jan 31, 2010 15:45:21 GMT 1, No offense but being a framer does not make them an expert
Analogy guy that cooks burgers in a van, and a Michelin rated chef- worlds apart
First question should always be " I have something very valuable to frame, are you insured against damage or poor framing techniques?"
I speak from bitter experience maybe 4 years ago, since then I've educated myself and do my own framing

Banksy - No Ball Games (GREEN), by atom on Jan 31, 2010 16:36:53 GMT 1, You could go for the float mount option, but not feeling the wave you often see...never looks quite right. Only prints you can get away with floating are Failes, guess it's to do with the weight of the paper, which look stunning when executed well. I would just keep it clean and classic with a single black mount and frame. If it covers the stamp slighty...would not be a big deal for me.

Simples, treat every piece as if it's my own. Even if the image is not square (cough cough) ;D

Banksy - No Ball Games (GREEN), by sandchicken on Feb 1, 2010 17:33:44 GMT 1, A trade for this has faded away, so since it has been going on two weeks I thought I would just start over again.
I have since gotten Josh Keyes' Entangle 1 and Scorch via separate exchanges, so I am not really looking for any of his prints at this time. Also, most of the Fairey based offers I got were not very appealing.
So this time, I will narrow it down to a few Banksy prints that I would like. I would trade for: Silver Flags, Colour Trolleys, Donuts (prefer strawberry), Sepia Morons, Nola, or Very Little Helps. I would trade straight up for a Strawberry Donuts, and would expect something additional in a trade for Colour Trolleys or Silver Flags. I will include more in a trade for the rest.
I have cash and additional prints for trade. The additional prints I can trade are: Micallef - Bethlehem Faile - Star Spangled Shadows Mclauchlan - It Takes Two Blu - Headquarters Fairey - Venice Pattern Set Fairey - Japanese Fabric Pattern Set (red/black) Fairey - Flower Vine (complete set of 3)
I have some more I can trade, but I thought these would be the most appealing. The rest of my collection can be viewed at expressobeans here: www.Expressobeans/members/collections.php?id=9829
Again, I am located in the USA, and would perfer to trade to someone else located there, but I am willing to work something out.
Anyway, let me know.
Thanks!

They are close now, and I wouldn't expect much more, but I am looking at it longer term also. There are a lot more Trolley prints out there then there are NBG prints. Something like 1400 vs 500.

Banksy - No Ball Games (GREEN), by Zippy on Feb 2, 2010 13:35:40 GMT 1, It is hard to see it as the image is small, but is that a silver frame with a red and black under mount? fingers crossed.

SteveSoho, I see that the numbering and blindstamp appear to be showing fully. Did you use adhesives (hinges, etc.) to bring the matte in close without covering the numbering/blindstamp up? I keep asking what people have done, because I really want all of the blindstamp and numbering to show on mine. However, I am absolutely frightened by adhesives. Thanks!

I found the grey to be a bit boring and bland and knowing the green were only offered to overseas entries I searched ebay.austrailia....Managed to pick one up for $2600 aus dollars = £1400 gbp....
