The last time I walked down Old Street, a couple of days ago, the wall still featured the "Come Back" slogan and various other non-descript tags. Let's hope the LU cleaners paint over that stuff too and Mr B really does come back.

Actually I heard it XFM news earlier this morning - and when I went looking on the web that was the only reference I could find to it.

Plus, wasn't insinuating you read the Telegraph. Though think it's healthy to get a conservative view on issues now and again - even if only to have something to rebel against.
For me this story says more about the nature of the British press, than either Banksy or London Transport painting over graff. God I love our news media.

Someone actually repainted the entire thing, but the guys had banana suits on! Even thats been painted over now..
