Always find Mear's work really interesting, as so much of his work has a really strong style, that I guess reflects the LA scene? Its just so different than what we see from UK and European artists.

I am happy to provide any clarification that may hopefully help. I actually did 3 (editions of 8) this month, (which we planned and printed all three at once to keep it even more limited, versus doing an edition of 25 of 1 image like we did in May 2010). Since there are only 8 of each, I personally would not consider that a lot (since the editions were kept so low).
Overall too, since 4/2/2010 we have only put out a total of 54 limited editions, which in comparison to the usual run of 100 on each of our screen-prints is pretty limited in my opinion, especially in relation to some other projects (as was our goal):
To recap:
on 6/30 we are releasing an edition of 8 ("Meditation")
on 6/22 we released 2 editions of 8 ("40 Days" & "Mason")
on 5/14 we released an edition of 25 ("Allegory of Complacency")
on 4/2 we released an edition of 5 ("Common Sense")
The other edition released this month (ed of 100 - The Katharsis)...I had nothing at all to do with. It was published/commissioned by LA Art Machine and Rivera & Rivera for VOLTA (as the KOFIE print also was commissioned/published by them as well)...honestly, I have no financial association with that whatsoever and didn't even know about it until I saw it posted up on the forums, as it was up before MEAR was even back in town and we talked.

You are 100% right on that...MEAR and Duardo go back a LONG LONG LONG time...the more I get to know Richard too, the more I like him personally (beyond having the tremendous professional respect that will ALWAYS exist). Richard goes back a long way with a lot of people in the art world though...as I am continually finding out in good ways!!!
Though I have to say, his drink of choice being vodka and his stories being pretty awesome...gives him even more bonus points too...LOL
