BUT it can mean To encourage New Growth  VERY CLEVER as always Banksy  Personally I like what The Royal Forestry Society have to say on the subject of pollarding "Pollarding prolongs a tree's life - done regularly, pollarded trees can survive for centuries.
Nowadays pollarding is mainly done for landscape and conservation reasons and on street trees."

That piece aint signed so its no proof tho. Im presuming he didnt do the Gaza strip on his own, or film himself putting up the pieces in the museums.........so id say he deffinatly has a bit of help.

Yeah, they said the same thing in the radio report above. The council said that they would look into repainting the yellow lines that he painted over, but that they give priority to buffing 'offensive graffiti' first.
