Quo Vadis was decorated with Hirst originals and after a big fall out, they were removed and Pierre White made his own copies to put up. I think Hirst then copied one of them and flogged it and Pierre White sued him ;D ha ha..

Damien Hirst/Marco Pierre White Originals?, by kiy on Dec 8, 2007 22:56:51 GMT 1, I have been told the pictures where removed from the Titanic in the Regent Palace Hotel (the restaurant was once run by MPW). Some of the pieces where on the walls and somewhere in storage. There are 17 pieces in total. At the time MPW and Hirst where friends hence the possibility that the pictures where DH originals.
My friend is in the removal business and he is the legal owner of the pictures. He has had them for several years but has never been able to confirm who they are by and if they have any value.
He wants to sell them. Without being able to confirm who they are by I don't think any Auction House will take them. If they are confirmed MPW, still not sure if they would take them. They might just end up on the bay.
It would be nice if they where Hirst Originals.
I will get a chance to see all of them next week and will post more more pictures then...

A reputable auction house would be able to confirm them.. the bay ? he'll be a multi millionaire if they're originals. Very very doubtful... maybe sell them back to MPW

You could show them to Sotheby's Contemporary Art Department, they sold the contents of Hirst restaurant Pharmacy, so they have very good contacts with Hirst and his company Science. Good luck, but my feeling is they are by MPW, still fun things and there is a story there, they could have some value just because of the story attached.

I will send the pictures to Sothebys and see what they say. I will also see if I can get in contact with MPW to find out if they are his..and if they are if he wants them back....
