Infact they gave the surrounding top half a right paint job. They are putting hoarding over it as the building might just fall and crush someones foot. Mah! At least they are not getting rid of it! Oi Oi. Maybe perspex people. Ha!

Sorry mate - if you believe that you'll believe anything. This work has been in much the same sate as it is now since it was painted in 2004 (Apart from the BANKSY signature being removed soon after it was painted). It has not been tagged and even bill-stickers have respected it. On the very day Ringo Star opens Liverpool Capital of Culture the council cover this fantastic piece of work with a mash-up of timber and nails - an act of total insanity
