framing adam neate triptycht, by daz205 on Jan 22, 2008 12:59:44 GMT 1, hi i`ve just had a call from nieche framers in bristol to say that due to the size of this piece and the thickness/thiness of the paper they are worries about it warping within the frame and that they cannot mount it safely/removable to a acid free board again due to the size has anyone got a solution or had this happen to them with this print before
the frame was going to be a box frame with no border etc

framing adam neate triptycht, by nickc on Jan 22, 2008 16:56:45 GMT 1, Have a look in the gallery section. There's some beauties in there. If needs be, print it off and show them. Or take it to another framers.

framing adam neate triptycht, by daz205 on Jan 22, 2008 17:06:49 GMT 1, the problem isnt with the framing i believe the problem is due to the paper being too thin for the size of the print and therefore having a tendancy to warp how to avoid this i dont know

framing adam neate triptycht, by manty on Jan 22, 2008 21:08:43 GMT 1, got mine done by gary at Mr Frame man
I have it with around a 30mm gap between the edge of the print and the frame ( i didnt like the idea of the print being compressed by or touching the frame). I've had it for around 2 months, all seems fine.
