Last year everyone was intrigued to find Andipa doing that Banksy show.
this was followed up this year with a gallery (BME!!) and shop kind of format
( that shop WAS tatty...) - and now...
They've decided there is enough demand to expand the artist spread
inside the 'scene'.

With regards to the 'show' - it is not like a normal gallery show that has been carefully put together, it is just a badly put together selection of over-priced secondary market artworks.
Thats if their Banksy show was anything to go by...

He hasn't done much before or after, but you cannot deny the importance of that piece. I think it is made that much more relevant by the context of the gallery and pieces that are included along side it.

They are not doing it for the goodness of the scene or artists who's work they are showing. They are doing it to make heaps of cash. I'm not by any means condoning this show or the, most probably, inflated prices but they will have some very rich clients who wouldn't dream of buying from within the scene or off Ebay etc. And while these type of clients are willing to part with large amounts of cash, Andipa and many other similar set ups will always try to key into it.

I think Bast is good I ahve a couple of his prints and they are massive - the more I look at them they seem to get better!
