how is he losing it?
he's just released the black 4' dissected companion & before that came the undercover bears. ok, maybe they're not the best but the sorayama's were going to be pretty hard to beat, don't ya fink?!
2010's going to be a great year for kaws & i've got a feeling he's going to release something on par with the companions. ikwt!

Totally agree, This year will be massive for Kaws especially with the exhibition in Madrid ( unfortunately no prints will be available), I like the wall it's kinda cute. .
I hope there is another vinyl release along the lines of the companion. I have a 4ft coming , this is my Kaws holly grail the black dissected, I can't wait it shall be awesome I just don't know where I will put it that my boy won't get his grubby little hands all over

Kaws • Wonderwall, by lifeonwalls on Jan 20, 2010 5:57:29 GMT 1, knowing that because it's KAWS that it will probably be expensive (and slightly overpriced) I'll save up for his next non-dissected companion release...from what I've heard it shouldn't be long.

Kaws • Wonderwall, by stopki on Jan 20, 2010 9:52:15 GMT 1, Well personally I think career wise it is a big year for him and the development of his works reaching a wider audience.
As forthwith work well last good thing I saw him paint was the pharell commision.
An then the kurfs series .
Then all the spongebob and the more abstract works lame IMHO.
As for his figures last year was terrible. This wonderwall is terrible.
It's like he's run out of great ideas. Which is not surprising since he runs the clothing toys and paintings.
That's alot for any one to keep ontop of and stay fresh really.
The companion figures are good. But he's been redoing these over and over again small, large, etc.
Need something fresh or the fans will het bored or are they now just buying it kause it's kaws.

Hey Stopki, I totally agree with you. i don't hate his work but we(especially known his work over 8 years) can clearly see that he's run out of fresh ideas.
I will not pay a dollar for the wonderwall.
