Bit pricey as you say - I collect a lot of Vhils stuff, but wasnโt sure about this. There are lithographic prints and then there are Idem published lithographic prints. You just need to look at the history of the presses used, along with the list of who's work they printed, since as far back as Matisse, Picasso, Miro, and Chagall etc. As well as the extensive knowledge of materials used and the creative space the print house is. It's pretty well acknowledged that the printing done there is a skilled craft, carried out by master craftspeople, who spend time with the artists to ensure the prints produced are top quality reproductions of an artists work. There's obviously the premium that different artists can charge which is also reflected. |

People here talking the price are missing the point. Cargaleiro is one of the most know portuguese contemporary artist and a collab between the two is just a one in a lifetime thing.

Wish we could have released a silkscreen print at our usual price, but that is unfortunately not realistic with the market value of Vhils prints. |
