That said I hope this is not a turning point, imho the beauty of the project it's the formula it has been run so far, with artists as good as Swoon (second to none in this scene) accepting to take part to it as it is, even if their market was very different from your proposal.
I would have loved if the same process as usual had been followed and, considering the status of the artist, for instance, the edition size had increased to satisfy the inevitable higher request, instead it looks the process was mainly driven by the artist to keep the edition aligned as much as possible to the market built so far (either editions look priced that way).
So, please, don't take this as a critic, the collaboration is great and definitely very well deserved. Vhils is huge. I just would have preferred it your way rather than his way (although I love Vhils too).

Thanks for your kind words and sharing your thoughts. We've been puzzling for a while on how to make this work for all parties involved, and I think we've found a good solution. Both prints that we'll be offering will actually be slightly lower than current market prices, with the pre-order even below that price again. So there
I see the point in your suggestion, but it's kind of the same thing from a different perspective. Higher price or higher edition. At least with the higher price we won't be stuck in the offices for weeks on end to fulfill orders. haha. Another route we could have taken is an open timed edition, but to be honest, I've never been a personal fan of those.
Most importantly of all, this release ensures that The Jaunt can continue doing what it has been doing for the last 10 years already, while introducing our project to a brand new audience.

Even at โฌ200 I think this is a steal. On the fence with the screen print. Itโs nice but imo a slightly weaker image. Obviously 50 by 70, so larger size - and has the usual Vhils bleach and ink hand finish, but still pricey enough at โฌ650. Might just stick with the riso this time. Nice job overall the Jaunt thoughโฆโฆ..
