PRETTY UGLY - OPERA GALLERY - JUNE 2ND

This Thursday (June 2nd) is the reception for my show "Pretty Ugly" at the Opera Gallery in New York.
I have been working on this body of work for the past 6 months and I am very happy with the results. I have spend every free second, dollar, and favor that I had to create this work. Now, after 6 months of hard work, it's ready.
This work will feature some of my largest works to date. I pushed myself creatively, technologically, and mentally to produce the work.
I will also debut the new anodized Aluminum works that were created during a residency at the Neal Feay company. These pieces are produced by anodizing the aluminum directly with various dyes. This impregnates the surface of the aluminum with pigment so that it cannot be washed off. The works are so durable that you can wash them with lacquer thinner and a pressure washer and it would not mare the surface of the art.

Mujer Fatal was also $7300 USD
Although the Mujer Fatal looked better at V1 in my opinion.
