FAILE 'STAR SPANGLED' & BEEJOIR 'JAZZY' FS!, by Ruggs on Mar 5, 2010 16:01:49 GMT 1, A £100 is a bargain for such a lovely print, but I seem to remember that early on a few Jazzies went for between £185-£250, so I think around £150 is not too bad an asking price.

FAILE 'STAR SPANGLED' & BEEJOIR 'JAZZY' FS!, by e15makaveli on Mar 5, 2010 18:18:57 GMT 1, everything i read from aarab is saying that prices are too high or it sold cheaper on ebay. the world does not revolve around ebay nor does it set a concrete price for pieces, ruggs has put a price he wants and deems fair, if you dont like it then pm him and see if you can make a deal at a different price, if you are not intrested in the item at all then why post? people dont need you tonotify them of recent prices, if they are intrested im sure they will do their own homework first. stop trying to bait peoples prices down

Well said!
People can price their possessions at whatever they want. ok, in some peoples eyes it might be over the market value, but if at the end of the day they are only going to sell at a price they are happy to let the piece go for.

Everything you read from aarab is saying prices are too high - and then a week or two later the pieces get reduced by the seller - Why? am i dictating prices? or does the majority agree it's over priced to begin with but is too scared to upset the "BIGGER boys"?
The world indeed does not revolve around eBay but when it suits it does. Certain members even go as far as saying "minus ebay fees, minus pay pal fees". I was buying certain Banksy pieces outside ebay for well below everyone was paying on here and eBay over a year ago - when i wanted to buy the same pieces on here i mentioned what i was paying outside eBay and all i got was "oh no im not selling for that the last one on eBay sold for...." Ebay is the guide the majority choose to use when things are on the up and ignore when on the down.
Some on here don't like the aarab view and i can't blame you or anyone else when one is looking to trade a Moscow print for a lifes too short print. The forum is about sharing information - i'm sharing mine and everything i've posted i've backed up. If you don't like that don't blame me - blame the people who choose not to pay over the odds anymore.

What about the ones that were dearer? they sold before the last one i've mentioned above. You're right, art is worth what someone is willing to pay and these days it's allot less than before - prices aren't going up you and whoever thinks they are need to realise this. I'm not turning this thread into anything other than discussing one piece that is currently listed above. If you don't like my view then thats up to you but this is a forum where different opinions are welcomed - if we all had the same view this would be a very dull board indeed.
The current one on ebay since this thread started has been reduced by a further £7.

I did read it matey. The prices i'm quoting are fair and realistic and I wasn't influenced by anything other than what I feel they're genuinely worth.
