I also heard that they will be a book release thru Aldrich Museum in CT for the show there on July 27th. That show will have more current pieces as well as vinyl.

Quite disappointing..but than again he does have a museum show in a matter of a couple of months...so KAWS fans can get their fix than.
The artist will be there on the opening (17th). If anyone is going and could grab me a sketch (if Brian is sketching for fans) I would be very grateful and perhaps could somehow repay the favor??! ;D

They were hand painted. I contacted PDP a couple of weeks ago and they corrected the error in the on line catalogue.

i am going to rock up to the show with a primed canvas and some krinks and see what happens

the babies were yellowing, paint stuck to the perspex covers... serious damage.
but they are in safe hands now, undergoing some restoration.
prices were about right on both considering the condition of both.
never think at every piece in auctions are mint. you need to get a condition report, and thats only 1 persons view.
if you are serious you need to see them in person before buying.
