Random Question: Lake District, by hlarmy on Mar 20, 2010 1:19:25 GMT 1, Evening all
This has nothing to do with art, but I'm in the process of organising a stag do - en route to Edinburgh, I am looking to arrange a night in the Lake District. Can anyone recommend a nice village / town to spend an evening- we're basically looking for somewhere a bit rustic with 3/4 local British pubs with a nice atmosphere, somewhere to drink the night away before the carnage of Edinburgh.
Any advice either on either villages to stay, and on Edinburgh, would be much appreciated.
