Has anybody on here framed there Prefab - Britannia prints?
I'm having problems getting it flat with the amount of varnish used on these prints, have only seen one other framed and to be honest it looked very poor.
I'm considering putting it in one of the habitat frames with 2 pieces of glass, 1 each side, which should keep it flat and maybe take the wave out if it eventually.
But will the varnish possibly stick to the glass and ruin the print??
Any help please as really wanna get this on my wall but can't afford expensive framing at the minute, as work is really slow.

Framed Prefab Brtannia print?, by Deleted on Feb 24, 2010 16:22:09 GMT 1, can't give you an example of a framed print, but the option you give is very relevant. I think the varnish will stick to the glass... humidity and heath are very hard to control and varnish can be a b+tch in these situations!
maybe ask your framer for advise?

The vanish and hand finishing on the print is causing some quite large ripples in the paper.
My framer advised to mount it on board, but I know this isn't the done thing.
Everything we tried just seemed to push the ripples to another part of the print.
Has anybody else framed one of these and how did they get over the rippling issues if they had any??
