Thats a nice way of thinking mate, but more likely to be the artist with the most potential to make him money. Hes a businessman afterall

i can't see that dan can do much more than he is doing, which is currently selling out of all his prints at a reasonable pace and not cheeply (apart from the ed's of 150, which imo arent as good). what people have to remember is that the huge buzz surrounding dans work has gone and he is still comfortably selling out edtions of 75/50 almost instantly and at £550/£400(his last two prints. is that not an artist who has made it big??? people know that the flipping potential isn't really there now and yet they still fly off the shelf. apart from the last print(a/w the union), imo his stuff has got better and better. the sell on value means nothing to me and if you guys bought his stuff because you like it and want to keep it, it shouldn't mean much to you either. although i appriciate that we all have to get rid of stuff from time to time.
anyway i'm off to the framers to pick up another db print.
