Why do you think they have fallen so much over the last 2 years?
An Improvised Minotaur could only muster bids of £280 on ebay today.
Thats surely rock bottom now?

The Impure idols set IMO were initially overpriced, now at around the £500 mark each they represent good value for money. Girl in a red dress recently went for £2600 on the bay. All artists prices fluctuate from time to time and rather than worry about market price, see it as an opportunity and buy while you can. I personally rate Micallef very highly and think his work is getting darker and better all the time.

It's certainly getting darker - I happened to see a few originals yesterday which were being framed before making their way out to LA for the Laz show in June.
Can't say much about what I saw - except the predominant colour was...black.

It shouldnt really!
Bidding is just a few clicks of the mouse. You bid what your willing to pay. In this case it didnt get past £280. 400 is quite a large edition really though. And the initial price was insane.
Long may they drop. I want a cheap FF!

I bet if i asked most of you which of his man canvasses you would like to own most, it would be something from way back. His new work just doesnt cut it for me.
