Obey...Import tax issues!, by Argiebaji on Apr 18, 2010 14:00:18 GMT 1, Over the past few months EVERY obey purchase I have made has come with a large Import Tax charge.....approx 50% of the actual print cost....
....It is making me think of stopping buying Obey prints.
..I have written to Obey with these concerns....has anyone else had issues like this too? Has anyone else written to obey too?

Its because they have now switched to UPS, and worse, UPS want cash when they deliver
I wrote to Obey asking to switch back to USPS, but they said I was only only complainer
They can do nothing about the tax, but they CAN do something about the shipping agent.
With the increase shipping costs with UPS and import duties and the clearance fee to UPS a $45 print now costs close to £80!!

UPS gets me every time and wants me to pay COD
