From someone saying it was done by faile as a dig at there old friend or it was banksy himself? Most of the rumours were started by people selling them on ebay

So, the flyer given at Flag release..., by Hugs on Oct 15, 2007 12:00:23 GMT 1, Preffered the flyer from the Workshop in Bristol...far rarer as well,have only ever seen 1 on ebay and that was in a bad condition.I think very few survived as they put up around Clifton etc the day before (?)

Depending on what that one sells for I may sell mine....
I like it... at the front of the line ( i was tenth) we all thought it was from POW at first- thinking it might be to be exchanged for a signed flag, or for the next LA print as part of the (then) proposed lottery system..
Havent seen the bird who handed them out since though- not at any openings or shows, or in any lines for any prints that Ive been to.....

I was about 600th in the queue too, judging that by the Flag number I got so not sure how the flyer numbering/100 worked really? sorry CBL, didn't realise this had been done before, though i should've guessed/searched i guess 
There was one very long running thread on this, which occasionally got updated but I think it's slipped down the threads pretty far by now, it'll take too much effort in finding it.

yes it was a Girl. She said 'good luck', then after she had handed some more out, crossed over oxford st, then went back down on the opposite side of the road and up tott court road... all a mystery still almost a year on.
Its the law of sod that as soon as I sell mine, it turns out it's by banksy. Probably.
Kind of reluctant to part with it anyway considering the torture that night was in the cold.... nice memento

I don't find it that strange myself I think the anonymity is in keeping with the ethos of Mr B and I for one applaud whoever did this and chose not to jump on the bandwagon when it took off.

Were there many of those flyers collected then mate,as I say,only ever seen 1 on ebay and that fetched about £200 I think,pretty sure there aren't many around now.the ebay was creased and had a slight tear i think.

Bet you're glad you got that call then! It was a good atmosphere that day. I strolled up about 10.30, walked into the workshop to be greated by Danny and co SURROUNDED by tubes. Quite a sight.
