It was multiple butterflies with words incorporated into their wing designs painted (I think) on a big steel door in Bristol, maybe under a bridge.
Can't find any reference to it though. Anyone help..

Wherever the influence came from, this is a teriffic piece!

Nicks has 'Chaos' written on the wings.

How many album covers did this in the seventies, too many to mention. Take the image for what it is.
After all it will be done again by a younger artist / designer in the next few years. Till then:)
