Ralph Steadman, by misnomer on Aug 15, 2007 7:35:03 GMT 1, Anyone have a line on anyone (UK ideally) who sells his prints? there's a few places, bookshops mainly, in the US and I know of course of www.ralphsteadman.com/ but I'm after a couple of pieces long sold out from there and his stuff rarely comes up on the bay
his work isn't very 'street', so the name may not mean much to many here, but any pointers much appreciated etc.

Ralph Steadman, by misnomer on Aug 15, 2007 12:09:41 GMT 1, thanks for the link, mailed them
and yes the film was a poor attempt at the book, definitely not one of Gilliam's finest moments

I bought one of his prints though his website of Dr Gonzo signed by both Steadman and Hunter S Thompson. it took a few weeks to come through.

yup I remember seeing an exhibition of his years ago at the south bank centre, about the time he did all the work for "The Wall", though some of his best IMO is his early stuff as a vietnam war artist
do prefer steadman though, has a bit more edge
