Leumasdarnley I think it is the US political system that is being slapped and not the US people. In the UK the US government has done loads to get the backs up of the everyday people in this country. Dont get me wrong so has the UK Government. Infact the two countries governments have lost face around the world over the last 5 years and for those of us that see a lot more to UK and the US as money making machines for the few its a bloody outrage.
So whilst I understand your retort I dont think it was aimed at the people. I also agree that regardless who wins the race in the current environment we proberly do all lose....Still its not all bad...they have brought Mendelson back to the UK Government - living proof that we are back on the straight and narrow over here...<sic>
