Well that is the going rate if are a seller in London and will only do local pick up deals. If you are not in London and trying to buy, it is a little tougher to get for 3,000GBP. Same thing for NY. I don't think you will find to many people who own the print in NY who will sell for $4,000USD.
I would buy one if I could get one close to home for $4,000USD and I'm broke.

I can appreciate why people like it, but don't understand the strong fascination with it around here, sometimes. I read somewhere that the market as a whole crashed not so long ago. I don't know when exactly and I don't know what the effects were. You probably have a far better long term understanding of the market compared to me. I can only see what things are 'worth' right now by watcching auctions (sometimes bidding on them too) and by buying things of forum members.
