Serious buyer but for a fair price. (E.g. not 2008 price.)

Personally, I've never understood the premium this piece commands to many of the other editioned to 25 works but to each their own. The market is kind of all over the place at the moment and nothing seems to make much sense to me anyway. I would hope you could find one privately at 35/40 but perhaps that's wishful thinking. The optimist in me thinks even at the gallery level one should be able to grab one at 45 but again what do I know? Sterling has really strengthened vs. just about every other currency so might be worth your time to look offshore as well. Good luck

For such large sums of money I would go with a gallery as there are so many fakes...I know a gallery is not watertight but it does make the paper trail sounder. If LAZ still has the one, and you can get it for 45K, I would buy it now....but as an image, I think it does not stand up to, say, Paranoid Pics, which you can get for about 25K. But, galleries will tell you that KIDS is a classic Banksy image and this is why it carries a premium...for me the best Banksy about for sale at moment is a Heavy Weaponry (or is that Weaponary??) with a funky multi-colored background ....or a Rat bronze statue that I love but can't afford...

Couldnt agree more, The heavy Weaponary that recently sold for just over 30k was a classic. Would buy one of those over a kwg anyday! Thats is if i had 30-50k to throw about!
