Banksy Canvas for Sale, by thehighlife on Jul 23, 2010 17:34:54 GMT 1, Curiosity got the better of me and I searched an artnet history. All of them from the edition of 25 that have sold at auction had the red Nike symbol and the lowest # from the edition noted was number 4 fwiw. There was one unique one on a red canvas (that sold for $80k in Nov. '08!) that did not have the Nike symbol. Gosh, I'm such a nerd but this is more interesting than my day job.

and being valued for less each time, the next person is looking at 13/14 k I guess unless the gallery now selling it is including the auction selling fees in the valuation they give this one

It's just from a 'Banksy Lenin' search on Bonhams.
Sotheby's had the red canvas Lee referred to.

No I mean42 and 56 are the exact same piece.. ie they are the same number.
A couple look jet black (although that could just be a better photograph) and others have over spray in different places or the angle of the can movement is different

im 99% sure they have used the same image then to sell both pieces ;D
