His left hand fades into a strange shape, his torso/jacket looks enormous (and reminds me of a mister man shape) compared to his stumpy legs and can't make out how his midget legs are positioned.

I agree, its an akwardly composed image. thankfully banksy has improved a hell of a lot since this image, its his worst piece in my opinion.
First time i saw it i doubted it to be a banksy.

I would also add that its virtually impossible (IMO) to not be influenced by the body of work and achievements of an established artist when viewing one piece. Its all part of the experience.
Anywhere between the Bonhamns auction price (misplaced IMO) of ยฃ15.6k to ยฃ18k would be spot on.

Banksy is the reason we all found this forum in the first place. This piece is a classic banksy and is a major part of his art history in that it shows his progression to where he is now.
I would love to own such a piece and even though it may not be to 'everyone's taste' you must realise what an important part it i plays in his progression.
To post that the 'execution is poor' and 'what are his legs doing' and 'his legs look stumpy' just shows that some people really do not get what he is about.
I would be delighted to have it hanging at 'chez zippy' and it would be one of my best pieces in my collection.

All of them from the edition of 25 that have sold at auction had the red Nike symbol and the lowest # from the edition noted was number 4 fwiw. There was one unique one on a red canvas (that sold for $80k in Nov. '08!) that did not have the Nike symbol. Gosh, I'm such a nerd but this is more interesting than my day job.
